The success of the Xmas PAWty 2019

The annual East Hants Dachshund Xmas Party took place at Drift Bar: hayling island on December 15th. We had an amazing time with over 100 people and 70 Daxies in attendances who enjoyed the PAWty, festive photo shoots, fancy dress competition, a visit from Santa with presents, Xmas treats and the biggest raffle! We managed to raise a fantastic £1000 for Hounds for Heroes which will hopefully help them with one dogs advanced training for a whole month! Well done to everyone who donated and came to the event!

There were over £3,500 worth of raffle prizes that were donated for the event by local businesses and people in the group. We had some lovely businesses with us on the day too. Snowy & Me owned and run by Pattama, she makes incredible custom made collars and leads. She has supported us on many events and it was a pleasure to see her with us again. Julie from Tiggys place also made an appearance with all her lovely healthy treats and christmas toys. A locally run business from Porchester where you can get everything you could need for most of your domestic animals. It is a great place to get a variety of raw pet food as well as fun new toys every season. We also had Sticks X bones join us with all their enrichment toys and treats to match. Another great locally run business who enjoyed the day with us.

Sam from Top Dog Photography was there to capture the pups looking super festive and just lovely with her festive themed photo shoot.

Alex with Kevin the winner of the fancy dress competition.

A lovely cake from Maria's Cakes and Bakes was also purchased for the event and this went down super well with the dogs and even a few humans were caught trying it!

All in all we had a super sunday afternoon and left full of festive cheer.

Thank you to everyone who came and all the businesses who supported us.
